It is 9:00 a.m. as I anticipate the birth of Daren Lee Gonzalez. Shannon and I have checked into Martin Memorial Hospital this morning at around 7:45 a.m. along with Shannon’s mom, Karen. Now, we wait.
All the preliminary work has been done and Shannon is now resting on her bed waiting for the doctor todo his thing.
We are so excited to see everyone on this fun day at 1:00pm! We sure hope everyone can make it. However, we will sure miss the ones who wont be able to. Games, good food, beers, and more.
Oh yeah except no beer for me…
We want to give thanks to Shannon Kohrs & Diane Bottorf for putting this together for us and my good friend Sheri Budovsky who is helping me with the food prep work!

Mommy and Daddy spent a fun morning on Saturday shooting the maternity photos at home. What made this shoot interesting is the fact we had to shoot it ourselves using the camera’s timer… extensively. A real workout for Daddy who had to run to the scene and get ready in 10 seconds before the shutter released. And taking multiple shots either because the composition was not right or the lighting was off. Needless to say, my legs were hurting the next day. But the reward was sweet. Beautiful pictures of Mommy… and some with Daddy. Enjoy them in our photo gallery, or by clicking on this link: Maternity Photos
